Custom Interior Door Panels

By In-house / XLVelocity
July 15, 2007

The same day that XLVelocity business parter and Craftsman Truck Series Driver, Travis Kvapil almost won the Kentucky Built Ford Tough 225 in Kentucky, XLVelocity announced today that their special designed 69-70 Shelby Interior Door Panels are available for immediate sale.

According to Owner Rik Holliday, "We have two available sets of interior panels to offer. One set includes Kevlar materials while the other utilizes the same composites as our exterior panels". When asked why Kevlar is being utilized, Holliday responded, "One of our clients came to us with a request from his insurance company for added protection. Since we utilize leading composite materials, it was easy to incorporate the Kevlar(s) into the panels for this one customer". Since XLVelocity sells their performance cars to high profile individuals, going the extra step demonstrates their willingness to meet the needs of their customers.

The door panels have been slightly modified to resemble the original appearance but have the Window Crank hole, Mirror Control hole, Lock hole and Courtsey lights eliminated. Door Panels are manufactured of light weight composite materials that are ready for paint or application of leather or other vinyl products. "These stylish panels offer a blank canvas for interior work", states Holliday. "We designed these panels with the customer in mind and the many different options they may desire in the future. Custom LED lighting is simple to add to these doors since the back of the panels are easily accessible".
